A new restaurant and bar is opening downtown in the former Purple Haze location.

The menu includes appetizers such as jalapeno poppers, chili cheese fries and seasoned fried catfish strips. Entrees include ribeye steak, a spaghetti dinner, shrimp Alfredo and 12-inch thin-crust pizza pies.

The club will host karaoke on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Nightly DJ information will be available on the website and the club’s Facebook page.

Hours of operation will be 4:30 p.m.-2 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 4:30 p.m.-3 a.m. Friday, 5 p.m.-3 a.m. Saturday and 5 p.m.-1 a.m. Sunday. Atomic Rose will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
