NMCA Memphis Homecoming
The NMCA will make a return to Memphis International Raceway thanks to facility upgrades as it’s bringing the spirit and excitement of street-legal drag racing back to its home.

Based on the iconic novel by George Orwell, 1984 brings the story of Winston Smith, a cog in the giant machine state of Oceania. Under the close eye of Big Brother, Winston has been caught struggling for scraps of love and freedom in a world awash with distrust and violence. With the brutal “help” of four Party Members, Winston is forced to confess his Thoughtcrimes before an unseen inquisitor and the audience, which acts as a silent witness to his torture.

Courage Thru Cancer
Courage Thru Cancer is proud to announce their first ever 5K called COURAGE 5K: TERI TROTTER MEMORIAL RUN. The race is at the Levitt Shell Saturday, May 4, 2019. This incredible event will raise money for West Institute and The Pink Wig Project.

Opening Day - Kayak Memphis
Join Kayak Memphis for the start of the summer paddling season! You can rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Kayakers can paddle across the harbor to dock at Mud Island Park or travel north to explore the Wolf River Harbor that stretches for more than three miles.

Cafe du Memphis to Benefit the Dorothy Day House of Hospitality
The Rotary Club of Memphis brings back Cafe du Memphis at Tiger Lane! Join the fun and enjoy beignets, shrimp and grits, cafe au lait and plenty of fun family activities. Tickets are $10 for a half plate of beignets and $20 for a full plate of shrimp and grits and beignets. New this year will be a Cajun Cookoff! Proceeds benefit the Dorothy Day House.

Race for Recovery
Shelby County Drug Court Foundation is hosting the Race for Recovery 5K race. For more than 20 years, Drug Court has been intervening on the lives and families of the arrested due to alcohol and drug problems. Drug Court reduces drug use, reduces crime, saves money, restores lives, saves children and reunites families. All proceeds from the 5K will go directly to offer services to participants in the Drug Court program.
