Virtual Juneteenth Celebration
Saturday, June 20 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
This celebration features The Official Black Lives Memphis chapter, Center for Transforming Communities, Daily Kos and the legendary Royal Studios!
Juneteenth Celebration
This event is IRL, Sunday, June 21 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Old Cowan Road Park.
COVID-19 precautions:
- temperature checks for each vehicle upon arrival
- handwashing station
- sanitation station with gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer.
A number of vendors for food, fashion, etc, games for kids, guest speakers, and activities to unify the community.
Juneteenth Trash Pick Up
Friday, June 19, 2020 at 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Food will be provided to anyone picking up trash on Old Austin Peay and parts of Stage Rd. Child care facilities within walking distance are available too.
Donations accepted go towards community outreach programs from OHC, LLC.
Dress code is BLACK, RED, and GREEN

- A smart device – phone or tablet able to receive text messages
- Bluetooth capability or an auxiliary cable so you can hear the tour through your vehicle’s speakers
- Read and agree to waiver statement (We’ll send to you upon agreeing to attend).
