This Sangria recipe is simple and so easy to make

Give this popular Spanish libation a Southern twist.

December 20th is National Sangria Day.  So to celebrate, we visited Irvin-House Vineyards on Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina to find out how to make one!

Sangria Ingredients: 

  • 1 bottle muscadine red wine
  • 1/4 cup spiced rum
  • a cup bubbly limeade
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 lime

Recipe: 

  1. Combine wet ingredients in pitcher.
  2. Slice your fruit and add to the sangria and stir.
  3. Serve in glass over ice.
