The Ancient Grounds coffee shop is now open inside the Memphis Zoo! This fun, new coffee atmosphere is right inside the front gates of the zoo, and can be your first stop before you set off to explore the different areas. Read more about it below!

Ancient Grounds is a nod to our Egyptian ties and love for coffee. When you walk in you will be transported across the globe to a Moroccan treehouse through the tribal influence and natural elements surrounding you. Ancient Grounds will feature signature drinks as well as classic coffee and tea options to choose from. There will also be a variety of food options from biscuits, sweet treats, and bagels to house salads and fruit cones. This will definitely be your first stop when you walk into the zoo! The coffee shop will be open daily 9:00am to 6:00pm. Come find your new favorite drink at Ancient Grounds!
