The National Hurricane Center posted that they will be hosting a series of webinars called “Hurricanes at Home.”

The webinars will take place over the next several weeks and are for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders who live in states and territories along the U.S. Gulf and Atlantic coasts.

You will learn about the job of a meteorologist, the weather hazards that come with hurricanes, and how meteorologists get you the weather information you need before a storm.

Webinars specific to North Carolina will be on Tuesday April 28, and Thursday April 30, both at 11 a.m. EDT.
