So, why not combine all of our favorites into one recipe!? Buffalo Wings are a staple of many Super Bowl parties. So, in the style of those over-the-top, super-dramatic-borderlining-on-extreme-epicness, over-produced videos you see in the pre-game shows, we present
SUPER CRUNCH SNACK WINGS
Roster of ingredients
2 pounds of chicken wings (no wingtips)
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 c. your favorite BBQ sauce
1/4 c. your favorite hot sauce
1 tsp. Siracha
3 tsp. honey
4 Tbsp. butter
Small bowl of popcorn
Small bowl of chips (we used 1 bowl of Doritos and 1 bowl of tortilla chips)
Ranch or blue cheese dressing
Game plan (Directions)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix garlic powder, pepper, and salt into big bowl. Add olive oil and stir. Toss in the chicken wings until evenly coated. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil. Put a wire rack on top of foil. Place chicken wings on wire rack. Bake for 30 minutes. Flip the wings and bake for another 30 minutes. While they wings are cooking, bring together the BBQ sauce, hot sauce, siracha, honey, and butter into a medium-sized pot. Bring to a simmer. Take a blunt object (we used the bottom of a sturdy glass) and smash the popcorn and chips into small pieces.
Once the wings are cooked, place them into a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss until coated. Then roll the wings into whichever coatings you want. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
