THE 5 Traditional Irish Drinks for St. Patrick’s Day

These simple drinks will keep you from looking like an amateur.

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. And if you’re out celebrating, you should look like you know what you’re doing when ordering an adult beverage.

We dropped by Dunleavy’s Irish Pub on Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina to find the five traditional Irish drinks you need to know for St. Patrick’s Day.

Traditional Irish Drinks

  1. Shot of Irish Whiskey — we suggest Jameson!
  2. Irish Coffee — Try a hot coffee mixed with some Bailey’s or other Irish Cream
  3. Irish Cream on the Rocks  — try this if you’re really looking for something sweet.
  4. Half and half — Half Guinness, Half Harp Lager.
  5. Pint of Guinness
